The 10 Worst Legendary Pokémon Fans Think Are Pretty Lame

Much like its pre-evolved form, Cosmog, this Legendary is also pretty useless. Cosmoem only learns one new move, Cosmic Power, after evolving. And while it sounds cool, this ability is basically the equivalent of Harden. So, again, Cosmoem really can't do much in battle. 

Cosmog looks pretty cute...and that's about it. As a pre-evolution, Cosmog can't really do too much. It can only learn two moves: Splash and Teleport. On top of having the smallest movepool, it also has the lowest base stat total of any Legendary Pokémon. Evolving a Cosmog is like trying to evolve a Magikarp. 

Tornadus takes the cake for having the most bizarre and ugly Legendary design. It doesn't even look like a Pokémon. Plus, Tornadus can't take many hits as its defense stats are on the low side.

Honestly, we often forget that Heatran is even a Legendary Pokémon. Its design is quite boring and ugly. When comparing it to other Legendaries like Lugia or Suicune, it really doesn't compete.

Virizion's design is just plain awkward. It's not exactly majestic nor powerful-looking for a Legendary. It's not even cute either. And its special attack, Focus Blast, is too inaccurate to even use in battle. 

As one of the three Lake Guardians, Mesprit's lore is quite fascinating. But its usefulness in games is pretty disappointing. As a pure Psychic type, it doesn't stand out from the rest of the Psychic Pokémon. Mesprit doesn't have any signature moves for a Legendary and is unimpressive all around.
