Vote for the Warrior Unit facts that completely blew your mind.

The lastest seasons of Attack on Titan have introduced the Eldian Warrior Unit. This group of soldiers hopes to inherit Titans that they can use to fight on behalf of their nation, Marley. Successful warrior candidates can gain citizenship and respect for themselves and their families, even though they're Eldians, a group which the Marleyans openly discriminate against.

If you love Attack on Titan trivia, you might be interested in some things you didn't know about the Eldian Warriors. Here's one unexpected fact: Pieck's original design was a middle-aged man named Oliver. Also, did you know that Bertholdt is the only character whose human form was created after his Titan form?

Bertholdt’s Human Design Was Created After His Titan Form

Bertholdt’s Human Design Was Created After His Titan Form

In most cases, Isayama designs human characters first, and then decides on their Titan form after that. Bertholdt is an exception - Isayama designed the Colossal Titan first, and then worked backwards to get to Bertholdt.

To come up with Betholdt's design, he asked himself this question: "What kind of character would I get if the somehow weakly and docile Colossal Titan was turned into a person?"

Annie Is Like A Big Brother

Annie Is Like A Big Brother

Annie is an English nickname for Anne, which is derived from the Hebrew name Hanna, which means "grace."

But that's not why Isayama chose the name for her. He chose it because it sounds like the Japanese word "ani," which is a casual way to refer to a big brother. He wanted people to think of Annie as an older brother, even though she's a woman.

The other reason he liked the name? It appeared in a comedy series called Kisarazu Cats Eye.

    Why Is Reiner So Buff?

If you've ever wondered how Reiner got to be so muscular, you might have thought it was because of the time he spent in the 104th Training Corps. But according the Attack on Titan Character Encyclopedia, it's actually a trait he inherited from his father.

Speaking of his built body, Isayama compared him to people he sees as naturally strong, such as hammer thrower and sports scientist Koji Murofushi, MMA fighter Fedor Emelianenko and football player Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, AKA Hulk.

Rather than talking about something traumatic or revealing secrets, she says things like "woosh!" while dreaming about practicing kicks.
