Considered for: The Riddler
Pursued by the studio (apparently) for the original Tim Burton films, Robin Williams himself then pursued it for the Chris Nolan iterations (Williams and Nolan worked together on Insomnia). Williams even said he'd be an extra in a Nolan Batman film. His Riddler could have been game-changing – sadly, it never came to pass.Wish they got the part?- 1The Fisher King4,783 Votes

Before he was ever Voldemort, J.J. Abrams and the studio reportedly wanted Ralph Fiennes to play Lex Luthor in Superman Flyby. It would have been perfect!Wish they got the part?- 1Schindler's List148 Votes

Cast as: Talia al Ghul
Palmer was part of the cast of the failed George Miller (Mad Max)-directed Justice League movie. The movie was fully cast, sets were being constructed, and pre-production was winding down with production of the film about to start, when two things happened:
1) The movie costs ballooned to an enormous $300 million, and
2) it failed to procure its tax breaks.Wish they got the part?- Photo:

Considered for: Two-Face
Remember Lando Calrissian? Remember how he already played Harvey Dent in the first Batman? Well, he was set to reprise the role and eventually turn into Two-Face in the sequel. But, as happened to the role of Robin, the sequel was packed with new characters, and the part was written out and then recast (Tommy Lee Jones) for the über campy sequel.Wish they got the part?- Photo:

Cast as: Wonder Woman
A Wonder Woman TV show actually happened, not long ago, in the same vein as "Smallville," "Arrow," and "Flash." However, budget issues, costume issues, and fan reactions kept it from ever airing even a single episode.Wish they got the part?- Photo:

Considered for: Batman
Brosnan recently revealed he was offered the lead role in Tim Burton's Batman but turned it down thinking the concept could never be taken seriously on the big screen, even though he admitted to growing up being a Batman fan.
"I went and met with Tim Burton for the role of Batman. But I just couldn't really take it seriously, any man who wears his underpants outside his pants just cannot be taken seriously. That was my foolish take on it. It was a joke, I thought. But how wrong was I?" said Brosnan.
