Erin Maxwell
Erin Maxwell has been scribbling in the pop culture space for the better part of two decades. She started her career at the Paley Center for Media and eventually moved on to the studio system, where she toiled away at Sony Pictures and Walt Disney Studios writing trivia games such as Jeopardy, creating innovative content for movie related sites, and helping produce marketing strategies for tentpole films for both Marvel and Pixar.
Somewhere along the way she spent a fair amount of time on the news desks of Variety and the Daily Mail, covering comic books, awards shows, the music charts, horror films, off-beat television programs, and everything and anything having to do with alt culture.
Erin also writes for the Village Voice and the LA Weekly, where she offers her opinions on streaming shows and films in a column titled UnBinged.
She enjoys collecting records, amassing a massive physical media collection of movies, and spending too much money on books, comics and otherwise. She also enjoys snacks. But not celery. It's the devil's vegetable.
